Mission Statement

The Mission of The Greenland Point Center is to promote healthy lifestyles and environmental stewardship by providing all children and adults, including those with disabilities, with a natural setting and programs that teach outdoor skills, leadership, ethics, and alternatives to substance abuse.

We realize this mission with a special appreciation and understanding of our Maine ecological heritage and an acknowledgement of the responsibility we have to continue this legacy.

Outdoor Education Opportunities for Teachers

For educators, Safari Club International is offering American Wilderness Leadership or AWLS-EAST. Teachers from all over come to Greenland Point for a week and learn about nature, the environment, outdoor living skills and conservation. We travel to many interesting locations in Washington County while taking advantage of all that GPC has to offer. Educators can earn 3 hours of graduate credit. Click here for more information.

Cost of Camps

The total Camp Fee is $500.00, unless otherwise stated. The Family deposit is $100.00. If scholarships are less than $400.00, the family must make up the difference. GPC has limited scholarships available to low to medium income families who must show proof of need.
