Investing in our youth through conservation education

MWA, is an advanced Conservation Camp for teens open to both boys and girls, ages 13-16. It will start on Sunday at 4:00 PM and end with a graduation ceremony, Friday at 11:00 AM. This program is designed to instill a continued sense of stewardship for Maine’s wilderness. As a result of our program, each teen will develop a renewed spirit, self-confidence, a sense of adventure and a respect and love for the outdoors.

The program is a wilderness expedition paddling the inland waters of Washington County. In this serene setting, campers will develop canoeing and paddling skills while enjoying activities such as swimming, fishing, hiking, and learning about wilderness ecosystems, land ethics, outdoor cooking and low- impact camping techniques.
